Conditions for which Pain-O-Soma

Pain-O-Soma 500mg tablets suppress muscle pain/discomfort due to sprain, spasm, or may be due to injury. This drug shows its onset within three to four hours.

a) Drug recommendation: Adult dosage for muscular spasm is 250 mg to 350 mg, three times per day, or 500 mg two times per day, by the oral route, or at bedtime.  

b) Missed dose: If you have skipped any dose for muscle pain, then do not cope up by taking an excess of dose. Consume as soon as when you remember or start from next dosing schedule.

c) Overdose: If you consume an excess of Carisoprodol then you might face fast heartbeat, shallow breathing, confusion, hallucination, muscle stiffness, light headed, seizure or fainting. It is better to consult your physician.

Drug Interactions with Pain-O-Soma 

Drugs that by interaction with Pain-O-Soma 500mg tablets hinders the activity of Pain-O-Soma 500mg Tablet are Benzodiazepines, antihistaminic drugs (Cetirizine, Diphenhydramine), antianxiety drugs (Diazepam, Alprazolam, and Zolpidem), narcotic pain relievers (Codeine).

Warnings and Precautions While Taking Pain-O-Soma

• Keep your medication in the safe and secure zone, away from small children. Pain-O-Soma 500mg tablets cause dizziness so avoid being indulged in harsh physical work.
• If you have to cease the intake of medication, then you should cut the amount before stopping it completely. Patients who already have any history of drug addiction should not take this medicine.
• Drowsiness or dizziness is common symptoms you might face with Pain-O-Soma 500mg tablet, so never consume alcohol as it may potentiate these symptoms.
• Not approved for use in children who are less than 12 years. Before consuming always, check expiry of drugs.
• Convey your doctor if you had allergies with Pain-O-Soma 500mg tablet or you is suffering from epilepsy, liver/kidney disorder. Stop the intake of sleep-inducing drugs such as narcotic painkillers, sleeping pills, or cough/cold medications.
• Harsh physical activities like driving etc need extreme caution. Pain-O-Soma 500mg tablets should not be given to breastfeeding mothers or pregnant women.
• Do not consume it with grapefruit juice or alcohol. You should store it in the cool zone away from moisture, heat, and light.
